The John Paul II Foundation on the path of literacy in the rural community of Sansanding.
The John Paul II Foundation for the Sahel has for main mission to enforce the training of men at the service of their country and fellow citizen. As such, competence strengthening (massive courses leading to a diploma) and the setting up of training buildings constitute a priority axis in its interventional politics. After a quarter of century of existence, the Foundation trained hundreds of thousand of people all over the Sahel and built several training and learning centres. By offering multi-purpose rooms to the population of 5 villages in the rural community of Sansanding, the John Paul II Foundation for the Sahel testifies its constant commitment in the fight against ignorance and poverty, while setting the stage of a sustainable development, because thousands of people will access to knowledge, know-how to create and participate actively to the development of their locality, their region and their country.
